Roles
  • Art Director: worked on motion graphics while their internal designer developed the brand, while leading all social creative for the sprint
  • Lead Strategist: led the account and digital teams to shape the content strategy
  • Producer: built all presentation video assets along with the social assets and posts, keeping cohesion while their internal designer was developing event assets at the same time
The Approach

Denver Gold Group intentionally came to us to develop their presentation motion graphics for their 3 main stages and a video banner in the main hall, totaling 32 videos needed, while their internal designer worked on developing their other collateral. Coordinating and developing design options with their internal design team, we landed on a look and feel.

Then, with a little more than a month left, the client, unable to keep up with social, came to us with some really ambitious social goals. Instead of starting cold, I used that existing video design style for our look. And drawing on my extensive past organic social experience and our digital marketing specialist's paid social knowledge, I coordinated and led the account lead and digital marketing specialist to set an aggressive social campaign. Honestly, I worried the KPIs set for us were unrealistic, but buckled down knowing we could at least get close. But to my surprise…

The Outcome

Every KPI target on the table got beaten, and some by insane amounts. LinkedIn impressions alone came in at more than six times the goal. Substack readership, website traffic, and follower growth on the 3 platforms all cleared their targets too. Even in my skepticism, the team and I were able to outperform and leave our client ecstatic on the day of the conference.
